Coolclogher House

Dating back to 1742, Coolclogher House in Killarney is a historic private manor set on 68 acres of parkland, originally designed by William Burn for Henry Arthur Herbert and his wife, Mary Balfour Herbert.

For much of the 18th and 19th centuries, Coolclogher House was part of the wider Herbert estate of Muckross, where it played its role alongside the grand Muckross House, helping to oversee land, tenants and enterprise across the estate.

Surrounded by 68 acres of lush private parkland and walled gardens, the estate offers wonderful views of the lakes and the mountains of the McGillycuddy Reeks.

This historic owner-run estate now welcomes guests looking for a peaceful retreat close to the natural beauty of Killarney National Park.
