Heritage Talk

BOOK NOW

Reflect with us on an amazing ancestral lineage here at Killruddery that dates back to the 17th century.

The Brabazon family have lived at Killruddery since the 17th century.  Join genealogist and lecturer, Sean J Murphy, to delve into their past.

The liberty of Thomas Court and Donore (also known as the Earl of Meath’s Liberty) was one of the several manors, or Liberties, that existed in County Dublin after the arrival of the Anglo-Normans in the 12th century. This was adjacent to Dublin castle, and was later entirely surrounded by the expanding city, yet still preserved its own separate jurisdiction.

This illuminating talk will take place in Killruddery’s historic Library. Guests are invited to a complimentary tour of Killruddery House after the lecture.
